MARCH 13 |
DOG LOVER'S DAY & BREAKFAST WITH SCOOBY DOO
Adventure Landing is hosting its Fifth Annual Dog Lover’s Day on Saturday, March 13, 2010. This fun-filled, all-day long, FREE outdoor event will entertain several thousand First Coast families and their pets at Adventure Landing, create awareness of the ongoing problem of the overpopulation of pets, and hopefully provide many homeless pets a permanent home through our Dog Adoption Fair.
Events will begin at 8am starting with breakfast with Cartoon Network’s very own SCOOBY DOO! A free Meet and Greet will follow until 1pm.
Following Scooby will be the nationally-recognized, award-winning K9’s In Flight Frisbee Dog Shows. There will be three shows, all choreographed to music. This high-energy, interactive event thrills guests of all ages. All of the dogs used in the shows have been rescued from animal shelters.
During the all-day event, Adventure Landing will also be hosting a Dog Adoption Fair. Shelters from Duval, Clay, Nassau and St. John’s Counties will be represented. The mission is to find as many homes for pets as possible and to educate the public the importance of spaying and neutering.
Ongoing, Adventure Landing will host a vendor area for pet stores, pet services and related businesses. We will also have games and a bouncy house for the kids, too.

EASTER EGG HUNTS
Join the Easter Bunny as over 2,000 eggs will be stuffed with candy & prizes and hidden on Adventure Landing's Miniature Golf Courses.
A $3 donation per child will benefit Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Florida. Registration is at 8am. Egg Hunts are at 9am and 11am for children up to 10 years of age (kids will be divided into 3 age groups).
All children will receive a goodie bag and a Charity Raffle will take place after each Egg Hunt with great prizes!
Each child must have an Easter basket (no bags, pillow cases, etc).

SCOUT SPLASH
Adventure Landing and North Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America persent a wonderful camping expereince in a family environment! This event offers unique and exciting activities including arcade fun, mini golf and Shipwreck Island Waterpark. Adventure Landing also has bathroom and shower facilties for both males and females along with a private, outdoor dining pavilion. A buffet-style dinner will be served which is convenient and fun for both scouts and families.
For only $19 per person, you will receive:
-Dinner picnic of hamburger or hotdog, chips, beverage and cookie
-Commemorative event patch with a loop for uniform wear

Adventure Landing will celebrate National Miniature Golf Day this year by offering a free Miniature Golf Season Pass ($79.99 value) to the first 100 guests that purchase a round of golf on May 8th!
Adventure Landing will also be offering unlimited miniature golf for the entire day for the price of a 2-game ticket. Hole-in-one prizes will also be awarded all day long!
