Q: How do we find Adventure Landing?
A: Adventure Landing is located just 1/4 mile east of the Intracostal Waterway off of Beach Blvd in beautiful Jacksonville Beach.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Adventure Landing accepts cash, and all major credit cards at the park.
Checks are only accepted for reserved groups, birthday parties, and season pass sales. For online purchases Adventure Landing accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Q: Can we bring our own food and drink into the park?
A: Food, beverages and coolers may not be brought inside the park. Water in clear, plastic bottles is allowed. You’re also welcome to pack your own picnic to enjoy in our picnic area located outside of the park. Please pack your picnic in a cooler to leave in your car until you're ready to eat. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on park grounds.
Q: Can we bring our own lifejackets?
A: You can bring in your own lifejackets, as long as they are US Coast Guard approved. Adventure Landing also has life jackets available at no additional charge. Swimsuits with built-in floatation devices are not Coast Guard approved, and are not allowed on some attractions.
Q: Can I leave the park and get back in?
A: All guests leaving the park and planning to return later that day are required to get a hand stamp prior to leaving the park.
Q: What can we wear on the water slides?
A: Appropriate swimwear is required, and subject to park approval. No bikini thongs, jeans, pants with rivets, belts, buckles or chains. Shoes and sunglasses are also not allowed on the rides. Swimsuits with built-in floatation devices are not Coast Guard approved, and are not allowed on some attractions. Swim diapers are required for children who aren’t potty trained. Swim diapers are available for purchase in the gift shop.
Q: What are the height requirements for the rides?
A: For the safety of our guests, certain rides have height requirements: 42 inches for Pirate Escape, Cannonball, Black Beard's Revenge, 48 inches for the The Rage, Hydro halfpipe, Eye of the Storm, Avalanche. There are many other rides for our smaller guests to enjoy, including two kiddie play areas .
Q: Do I still have to pay if I don’t get in the water?
A: Adventure Landing offers a spectator rate of $7+tax. To purchase a spectator wristband, guests initially pay full admission price at the ticket booth, and then are refunded all but $7+tax when they leave. Any spectator seen on any attraction, including the kiddie pool, may have their wristband removed and lose their refund.
Q: How much does it cost to rent a locker?
A: Lockers are $6 a day plus a $4 deposit. If you return your key at the end of the day you will receive your $4 deposit back. Our lockers provide you with all day, unlimited access to your belongings all day. Lockers are available on a first come basis.
Q: Can I smoke at Adventure Landing?
A: Many areas at Adventure Landing and Shipwreck Island are non smoking areas. Desginated smoking areas are provided. Please ask any staff member for more details. |
